The decision
to go with one hockey activity or another really depends on what you
and your child would like to accomplish. Most parents want their young
skaters to have fun and develop hockey skills while reaping the larger
benefits of organized sports: self-confidence, strength, maturity, independence,
character, and the ability to work in a team. We think hockey is the
best sport in the world and a great way to help our children learn physical
and personal skills that they will carry with them through life.
The Iceman
Coaches reviewed the many hockey activities available in the south metro
area and came to the conclusion that the options were limited for aspiring
hockey players. The Iceman Hockey School was developed to fill a need
in the local hockey community by meeting four simple goals:
- Maximize
the hockey skill development for every hour spent on the ice.
- Give
the young players the summer off.
- Provide
skills instruction for a reasonable cost.
- Build
a love and appreciation for the game of hockey.
