Welcome!
The
Iceman Hockey School is a skills-based development program designed
for kids 7 to 12 years old (Mite/U8, Squirt/U10, and Peewee/U12 levels).
Located in Lakeville, Minnesota, Iceman schedules its clinics around
the hockey league season and allows you and your skater to have the
summer off. We follow the 3:1 Practice to Games ratio recommneded by
USA Hockey and we focus on skating, puck skills and team play. Most
importantly, our kids have fun and build thier skills/confidence by
participating for the entire ice session, rather than riding the bench
during the majority of the time as they do during spring/fall league
games. In the spring we offer Advanced Mite/U8 and Squirt/U10 programs.
In the fall we offer Squirt/U10 and Peewee/U12 programs. This will be
the fifth season of operations for the Iceman Program and we thank all
the coaches and players who have participated since the spring of 2003.
SPRING
2007
Iceman
Hockey is now accepting registrations at the Mite/U8 and Squirt/U10
levels for the Spring 2007 Program. Each skater will receive 24 hours
of ice time at Lakeville Ames Arena. For the Squirt/U10 participants
we've added the skating treadmill sessions at Acceleration South in
Apple Valley to make it an even stronger developmental opportunity.
The skating treadmill provides specific training on skating mechanics;
so if your youngster needs work on his/her skating, the treadmill, together
with the ice time, can be a unbeatable combination. The cost for the
Advanced Mites/U8 program is $325 for the 24 hours of ice time. The
cost for the Squirt/U10 Program is $410 for 24 hours of ice time and
6 hours on the skating treadmill. Each program is limited to 24 skaters.
Take a look at our schedules and register early. Advanced
Mite / U8, Squirt
/ U10. For the Spring 2007 Programs, parents should register thier
kids at the level they were at during the 2006-2007 season. Call
or email if you have any questions.
